Dear Soul, if you were to die right now, do you know you would go to heaven? If you don't, you can. Not by what some preacher or some church says but according to God's Word you can know you're saved.
First recognize YOU are a sinner.
Rom. 3:1 "As it is written there is none righteous, no, not one."
Rom. 3:12 "There is none that doeth good, no, not one."
Rom. 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
But, sinner friend, Jesus died for you be cause He loves you that you might live in Heaven with Him for Eternity.
Rom. 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us".
If you fail to accept Christ you will have to pay the wages for your sins, which is death or in plain English is Hell fire. (Psalms 9:17)
Rom. 6:23a "For the wages of sin is - death…”
But if you accept what Christ did for you on the cross you will have everlasting life.
Rom. 6:23b"...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Yes if you want to be saved right now it is a gift to you. You cannot buy eternal life because it has already been bought and paid for with the blood of Jesus Christ.
All you have to do is to recognize that you cannot earn salvation, and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord right now. He Will Save You.
Rom. 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved."
Sinner friend, just bow your head right now. Ask Jesus to forgive you a sinner, and ask Him to save you. He will.
Rom. 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
If you called on Jesus as your Lord, he saved you because this verse says, "shall be saved," not might be saved, but shall be saved.
